The Gameplayers of Zan

Ler Series By M.A. Foster

The Gameplayers of Zan is the second book written by M.A. Foster in the Ler Series, but chronologically it takes place before The Warriors of Dawn and The Day of the Klesh. Gameplayers was by far my favorite of the series. It's unique, thought provoking, and packs a good twist.

The Morphodite

Transformer Series By M.A. Foster

Foster's The Morphodite is the first installment of the Transformer Series. The underlying concepts of this novel are highly creative and thought provoking.

Dune

By Frank Herbert

Most science fiction fans have already read Dune. It's one of the best known sci-fi novels and is truly groundbreaking and genre defining piece of literature. I highly recommend a read if you haven't yet.

Hyperion

Hyperion Cantos By Dan Simmons

The first novel in Dan Simmon's Hyperion Cantos sets the stage for this epic saga through a series of personal tales, told by a seeming unrelated group of individuals, traveling to a shared destination. The character's stories slowly interconnect into a fantastically woven mystery.

The Fall of Hyperion

Hyperion Cantos By Dan Simmons

Where the first book is mysterious and slow paced, The Fall of Hyperion amps up the action and intensity in a full blow war for the planet Hyperion.

Endymion

Hyperion Cantos By Dan Simmons

The third book in the Hyperion Cantos, and my personal favorite, Endymion, is one-hundred percent, pure, non-stop, heart pumping adventure.

The Rise of Endymion

Hyperion Cantos By Dan Simmons

This epic series concludes with The Rise of Endymion, which at its heart is a love story and drama that contrasts and compliments the previous books in a very satisfying conclusion.

A Fire Upon the Deep

By Vernor Vinge

A Fire Upon The Deep is an incredibly creative, unique, and thought provoking science fiction novel. A quintessential page-turner for any science fiction fan.

A Deepness in the Sky

By Vernor Vinge

A Deepness in the Sky, the prequel to A Fire Upon The Deep, is a fantastically mind bending and consciousness expanding science fiction journey through time and space. Profound.

The Martian

By Andy Weir

The Martian is not only fantastically humorous, it's also an amazing fiction about the human condition, the will to survive, and the power of friendship.

The War of the Worlds

By H. G. Wells

The War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells is unique and unprecedented for it's time. I highly recommend a read for any science fiction fan.

City of Golden Shadow

Otherland By Tad Williams

City of Golden Shadow was an incredibly well crafted and mind bending adventure which cascades through a series of virtual reality worlds, orchestrated by the world's greatest secret society.
